Once again, and for the third year in a row, Viña Undurraga is included among the Top 100 Wineries of the World, an annual ranking published by the american Wine & Spirits Magazine, one of the most prestigious and influential specialized media in the world.

In the 2023 selection, as in last year’s, only two Chilean wineries were chosen.

Two wineries from Argentina and one from Uruguay were also included, positioning Undurraga among the Top 5 wineries in South America.

This award is based on the performance of the wines in the tastings conducted by the magazine, which surprised the critics and their panels with wines that delivered precise regional expressions.

This year, more than 9,000 samples were tasted and evaluated. The magazine’s team considered all wines based solely on appellation, varietal and vintage, and the award winners were those with all of these factors in great balance.

Expanded information on the ranking and the wines from the various wineries around the world will be communicated in the Annual Buying Guide (Fall 2023) in September.

The magazine will celebrate the wineries that made the Top 100 with events to be held in San Francisco and New York.
