Origin
Leyda Valley
Description: Beautiful and elegant gold color, small and fine bubbles, persistent that form a crown in the upper part of the glass, the perlage “twinkles” like fine stars.
Soils: Both the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were sourced from small plots within vineyards in the Leyda Valley, a well-known sub-region of San Antonio, 14 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean. Cooled by the South Pacific breezes and coastal summer fog that often lasts until midday, the Leyda Valley climate extends the growing season of the vines, ensuring slow ripening and the development of intense, fresh flavours and aromas. Located to the west of the coastal mountain range, the soils of the Leyda Valley developed directly from the granite rock on the coastal batholith formed 200 million years ago during the Jurassic period. The valley has gently rolling hills, exposing different areas to varying levels of sunlight.
Variety: 55% Chardonnay y 45% Pinot Noir
tasting notes:
A beautiful, elegant golden colour with small, fine and persistent bubbles which form a crown at the top of the glass. The perlage twinkles like tiny stars. Delicious aromas of white fruit such as pears and fragrant peaches. A voluptuous attack in the mouth, complex with notes of sponge cake, fruity, full-bodied and well-balanced finish.

Origin
Leyda Valley
This wine produced using the traditional method, was made with the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from exceptional “terroirs” in our vineyards in the Leyda Valley.
Soil: The valley has gently rolling hills with good drainage and different areas are exposed to varying levels of sunlight. The soil in this plot has a very fine texture. The top layer is shallow clay with poor fertility and this is followed by a sedimentary “cracked” clay profile. The subsoil is decomposed granite rock and has a diverse mineral structure.
Variety: 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir.
tasting notes:
This wine was produced using the traditional method. Only the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were used, from exceptional terroirs in our Leyda Valley vineyards. Its bright yellow colour, complex aroma and delicately dry palate give it great elegance. Its fine, persistent bubbles make this a very fine, high-class product. Best served chilled at between 6°C and 8°C.
